I have a car at a shop and they are not advanced enough to diagnose a short I have with a 5 VREF circuit.
I just ordered a new wiring harness and from memory it looks pretty easy to replace....I dont think the intake needs removed or anythng like that.
I already have the ECU exposed and I'm hoping to change the wiring harness in a parking lot.
Does anyone know or can take a look how straight forward it seems? The ECU connectors will fit through the firewall with not much of a fight etc?
Any insight appreciated thanks

Restringing the new harness should move smoothly, but take pictures of locations, this harness goes all the way down to the steering rack.
I, on a 10-12, just had a cam phaser issue and ended up being a broken wire at the front (radiator side) cam phaser connector, was an easy repair.

Thanks for the reply! Yes it doesn't look too bad now that I see it. ***** the harness is on national backorder though. So I may just pull the old one and see if I can find the issue or fix
