Repair manuals???

Ive looked around at the local Auto parts stores and I can't find a repair manual for a Taurus SHO. Ive heard something about Helms makeing one. Does anybody know of a book I can use that will tell me all the engines torque specs( crankshaft, Rods, ect)?

Your best bet is to get a "Ford Factory Workshop Manual" CD off of eBay, there are a couple of different vendors who offer them. For example, try looking up Item number: 7989651814.

The chiltons Taurus repair manual includes the SHO and has all of the torque specs, it just isn't that great. The Helms is the Ford manual and is great. However, the Helms runs around $100.

Here is a list of everything you would need. The shop manual listed for $85 will have just about anything that has to do with the '95 Taurus including the SHO. It is the manual that the dealership uses. I own one, it is great.

Yeah I just picked up a 91 Helms shop manual off of ebay, and it has pretty much everything in it. It makes the Chiltons look like a brochure.
