93 SHO Rear Strut; how do you remove the top shaft mounting nut? All I've read says use a 6-point crows foot...there's not enough room the hole is to small, I only room for a impact socket at best. Am I missing somthing? Help...

If yours has the big hunk of aluminum surrounding the nut like my 94 does you can't use a crow foot wrench. I went to auto zone and got an offset oxygen sensor socket it was about 6 bucks or so. Both ends of the socket are open so you can hold the strut rod with another socket; It worked perfectly to remove the nut and to reinstall it.
Hope this helps, Adam:thumb:

Once the spring is securely compressed, just use the impact in numerous quick bursts and it will come off.
