The two holes left by the ford logo can be nicely covered by a stock "24V DOHC" emblem. I did this with my t-bird but used a "V8" emblem instead.

JT, what do you use as dental floss, steel wire?

I use a razor to get te meblem and most of the tape off, but I don't try to get it all off, or I'd scratch the paint. I then use acetone on a rag to rub off the rest of the tape, and then clean w/ dawn, then dry and wax.

Actually, dental floss works very well for removing emblems and body molding. As does monofilament fishing line. Simply grasp the line at each firmly with both hands and hold it parallel to the body panel. Then pull it between the emblem and panel to separate the two.
Also, don't go anywhere near your paint with metal objects. 3M makes an adhesive remover that works wonders for removing sticky stuff like what is behind emblems.

I pried my emblems off VERY CAREFULLY with a butterknife. Wish I'd known about the dental floss trick.

Didn't leave any scratches but yes, there are 3 holes for each badge.

I welded mine up and had it painted at a shop.

Ok I am wanting to remove my 24v badges, but a friend of mine told me that it is good to heat up the badges, with a blow dryer, before trying to remove them. Thoughts?
Also after you get the badges off, what is a good solution to use to clean the remainder of the sticky gunk off the car?
shrug

I've seen several other Shos' with them off and it makes the car look, to me at least, cleaner!
I just like the look of the ones that have removed them. eek!

Shavin' the badges off your can does give it a cleaner look. I was gonna have the badges taken off the trunk of my SHO. I talked to a local kid that works for/scams a local custom shop. He said they'd do it for me for free, didn't say how they do it but they did one **** of a job on his BMW. They shaved the badges off it and repainted it in "Lexus Charcoal Grey". It's one sweet ride, TVs, amazing sound system, etc... Kids got a ton of money from who knows where. He also drives a brand new GSX-R1000 with a NOS system and some other mods. He came into my work yesterday and was like "Check out what I picked up for a hauler...." He got a full sized Chevy pickup with 22"s and air bags. He had it dancin' when he left. Must be nice.....

The blow dryer idea is a good one, it helps loosen up the adhesive. Any adhesive left behind on the paint can be removed with Goo-Gone, or if it's minimal, WD-40 should do the trick.

And since everyone else has their rear posted, here's mine:
