You can use laquer thinner. It will come off, but it will eat the finish off the plastic. They will look a little cloudy when your done. Nothing noticeable unless your a freak like me.

You could prolly sand it off then polish the plastic back to smooth again, or maybe clear after sanding.

I would just replace them, they are just plain Taurus tails available in any junkyard. I got a replacement for one of mine that was broken for $10 at the local pull your own.

I feeling Ignorant about now... I've not heard the term "Night Shade" is that Factory SHO? I haven't noticed the differance in my tail light from a SLO.
Oh great! now I fell left out. :-(

Nope its a spray tint to make your tail lights darker, but still shows the light through. IMO it looks better and is a lot cheaper than the GTS Covers.

Here is the Translucent Spray

Pretty much. It's all over e-bay. Some local parts stores have them, but you'll have to search. I know Pep-Boys, Autozone, and Advance Auto don't have them, but you may want to search there too just in case.

How does this stuff work. I assume that it is sprayed on by reading this post. Do you have to take out the whole tail light. And how much does this stuff run for?

I think I paid $12.99 or 13.99 at jegs(which is by me). I think you can order online at www.jegs.com . IMHO it is easier to do it with the tails off the car. I got an extra set of tails from a jyard and did them off the car without any runs or problems. I then did tails on 2 friends cars and i had a few problems which i was able to fix.

Heres a picture of my car with niteshaded tails, and I didn't wright fo sho on my car, a girl did that.

I got mine from my local Ford dealer, about $9.

Why did you do that? It takes like 30 seconds to take them off the car, I'd rather not risk my paint with the overspray...
