I replaced the grill emblem on my 2011. All I needed to do was open the hood and remove the panel between the grill and the radiator core support. I was then able to get a wrench on the back side of the emblem to remove the two flimsy nuts, slide the old emblem out, and the new one in.

ill try that

thanks ill try these out going to the dealer this monday. Also i just noticed the ecoboost badge is also chipping and there is a few spot where the headlights are chipping. Will the dealers fix this stuff if i have Extended warranty? Also Ive had some issues a few times when i go to pass people the engine light starts blinking it runs a little bit ruff and then stops blinking and feels normal somewhat. Im sure they will be able to figure it out at the dealer. Its a 2010 so im wondering if some of the TSB's might not have been done will the dealer make me pay for these?

You can always tell the dealer to call you for authorization before proceeding on any service that will be a cost to you.

As for if the extended warranty will cover the badges, that depends on the coverage of the warranty. If it's powertrain only, then No. If it's bumper to bumper, including cosmetics, then it should cover them.

Yeah SHOrod I got the premium warranty or atleast the best one ford offers. I just dont wanna pay for stuff i shouldn't have to cause i dont know any better. I owned 2 old Sables and i always did alot of the maintenance myself or went to quick **** places for oil. I bought both of them when they were almost 10 years old. This sho is only 3 years old with 60000 kms so i wanna baby it.
