I'd like to remove the faux carbon fiber console trim in my 2011 SHO so I can matte coat it so it doesn't reflect so much sunlight. It's not obvious how to remove any of the pieces. Any suggestions?

Ok first remove trim strips on either side of console these pry off and run from push start button to arm rest and trunk release to arm rest. Next remove trim piece over glove box this clips as well then trim around gauge cluster, memory is a little foggy on this piece I believe is clips in as well and its a bit tricky to to get out between steering column and dash over hand. Now you can begin remove center console from the top down at each piece over laps the next and are held in my screws the top piece dash vents are all one single piece. Now with all that said you might want to consider leaving alone and just have it wrapped with a 3m vinyl film I believe I saw someone makes laser cut kit to do so as well.
