Have you installed/tested this yet? What material are you using inside the mount? Looks like a simple and straightforward design, but I'd love to know how they perform.

Looks good, If your worried about the nuts backing off you can take a center punch or chisel to the threads next to the nut.

I'd flip the bushings around to the outside. That way, you can inspect them and even adjust them.

Is your engine roll damper is any good? I ask because that's how I reinforce my front mounts, too and I've noticed an increase in driveline jounce without the roll damper.

well it's the stock beat up rubber,

You dont need the endlink bushings in my opinioin.

i ran it in my 1st sho for about 1 1/2 years with out the bushings, i used 5/16 grade 8 bolts, now i just wanted some give, like a stock mount, metal on metal scares me a bit :)

i wanted to do that, but form what i could tell they would not clear the sub frame,

This is a reinforcement that has been done on the MTX mounts for while. You don't really need the bushings at all; just the bolts. Looks good though.

IMO 4 bolts is overkill, only 2 are required. & You need the endlink bushings so you have some flex & you remove the NVH from metal to metal condition. You need the mount to flex so you don't stress the other connected parts, you just want to limit the travel of the horse shoe in the bucket that the bolts with bushings provide.

installed the mount last night, feels tight, shifts real nice now and no more bucking off the line, there is more NVH then before, but i guess going from a torn stock to this there would be, i was thinking about adding rubber washers to the bolt side?, think it would help the NVH? thanks again for the input

As long as the bushings aren't smashed too far, there shouldn't be much extra NVH. Putting a rubber washer under the bolt head can't hurt, but that's a lot of work for probably very little gain, if any.

You might find that the rubber washer will need to be replaced in the near future as they will proabably get torn up with the constant tension put on them from the motor.

I'd tend to think that being an end link bushing, and not just a regular washer, they would last a while.

To the OP, nice work! Needs more Loctite though. :)

If it was an endlink bushing then maybe, but since he said a rubber washer I went with what was said, not assumed.

i think you're right about the rubber washers, i need to check and see how much clearance i have, i guess thicker would be better? thanks for the input
