the break in period or period till broken, lol
There really isn't a breaking period...I would work it pretty hard after a few days of driving to make sure it is 100%...Its easier to get things fixxed a week after someone rebuilt it. After a month or so they will just say you where abusive to it and blow you off

When I got mine rebuilt he said to take it easy for the first few hundred miles for the clutch packs to break into each other, then drive it like normal.

I would drive normal for the first 20 miles. Just long enough to make sure all the clutches are soaked in fluid. We dyno the transmission out of the car at our shop. And I promise, we are harder on it, than the car can ever be. We tend to make sure that it will live up to the challenges of everyday driving. We do nicely engage all the gears, for a few minutes. Then we get the dyno going....

I'm taking it back to the shop that did it today. The car seems to be shifting a little higher than normal, and when I floor it from around 55 or so the car goes to almost redline then catches.
