I am now the proud owner of a 2013 SHO. I had a 1991 Taurus back when I still lived in Michigan. Now I am in Miami and I love towering over all these puny BMWs and Mercedes and Hondas and Toyotas and Lexuses and all the other vain crap people drive down here. Anyway, I have what seems to be a very strange issue...
There is some sort of clear liquid running down the windshield from behind the rear view mirror plastic cowling. It isn't water, it is thicker. It is oily, and it leaves a streak down the window very slowly.
What the heck is it? What is behind the mirror that would have some sort of lubricant, assuming that's what it is?
