Hello everyone, I am hoping that I can get some help. I just bought a 94 SHO for my winter vehicle nothing special, but it has broken rear springs. I have called around everywhere and there are no replacement springs out there. What can I put in there as a replacement? I don't care about ride quality or anything like that...

Would it be possible to buy regular ford Taurus springs as a replacement since I don't care about ride quality?

What are your thoughts on this.

SHO springs for rear

for any SHO I would recommend using a rear set off of a Gen 1 SHO. If you need the spring codes, I got them from RCM some time ago, still on the home computer.

The stock springs will work well w/ commercial struts, OR you could go with the monroe quick-strut (more $$), either options works.

Hello John,
I'm curious why you recommend the CC839 Gen I spring for all model SHO's? My data from Moog shows the CC839 spring is 3/4" taller installed, 6% lower load capacity, and 3% greater rate compared to the CC859 Gen II spring.

SHO Source now has the option of choosing front or rear for the Moog springs on the website.

We are going to have the option on the Monroe's and KYB's shortly. In the meantime, if you see something on the site that does not have the option you need, just ask. We will work with you to get what you need.
