Did a search and most reference the front mount, which I've already replaced on the 89. I still seem to get a motor jump when going in reverse and when letting off the throttle. I know where the mount is, but how do I go about replacing it? Is there more to it than removing the 2 (or however many bolts there are), jacking the motor up, and sliding it out? I know the PS pump is in that area as well.

Have you popped the hood and tried engauging the clutch aggressively in reverse to see how much engine movement you get? Thats the best indicator to tell if you have a bad mount. Its rare to have a rear mount fail but it does happen.

You might want to fix your leaky cam seal before trying to replace the mount.

Good idea. I plan on doing that with the valve covers removed when I do the top 60 since everyone says it's easier to do that way. I had issues trying to remove it just with with the timing cover and cam gear off and gave up since I knew I had to do the other work eventually.

for me getting it out was a bit of a pain in the ass and getting it back in was quite a challenge. it's easy with a pry bar. sort of get it into position and then lift on the bottom with the pry bar to line the stud up with the hole and set it in place.
