Yet another thing preventing me from getting my turbo sho on the road... when removing the y-pipe to fab up the twin turbo kit (single turbo for now, stage 2 upgrade=twin) the exhaust studs broke..... the from manifold i was able to remove like it was brand new... i just slotted the ears on the manifold so its a "universal fit" type deal so i can fit the bigger 2¼ inch up pipes.... now the rear is a problem.. i cant figure out for teh life of me how to get the darn thing off... the heat shield blocks the bolts that remove the manifold.... and teh bolts that hold teh heat shield on are not posible to get too.... i have tryed to fit the cut off tool up there to slot the ears while the manifold is on the car... no luck it doesit fit up there... iv tryed welding studs to it... again no luck... they just brake off when torqued down. has anyone managed to remove there rear manifold? or does anyone have any tips on how To remove it? again any help is much apreciated!
p.s. Must get this turbo project on the road asap!! =P i have the need for speed!
