I had my sho in the shop to get the strut plate replaced on the passenger side. When i picked it up and drove home i noticed that the rear brakes were sqealing. It sounded like it was only coming from the passenger side of the car. What could this be? I just had the pads replaced in august, and it wasnt makeing any niose when i took it in the shop.

it still makes the noise when i hit the brakes. I assumed it was just dirt or somthing on there from when the took the strut off, but i put about 160 miles on since i got the car back and its still makeing the noise. I figured dirt or anything would have worn off by now

Check to see if the pie tin is rubbing up against the rotor.

Very common. I always forget to check that after I pick the car up from service, then freak out because the brakes are making noise.

Mine did the same thing, only it was after I changed the brakes out myself...I thought I really screwed something up, only to find out that the pie tin was simply in contact with the rotor, boy was I happy to find that out!
