I blew out the hard line that runs east-west yesterday. I can't wait for a ford oem piece so I need to make up one. I read that I should get 3/16 hard line, use my old fittings and bubble flair the line, my question is...do I use the iso bubble flair tool (since the fittings are metric) or do I use the SAE bubble flair (since the lines are 3/16).
anyt insight would be appreciated

Yes you use the iso bubble flare.
I ordered mine from my local dealer on Monday and had them on Wednesday.

thanks

Paul,
I didn't have the luxury of waiting even 24 hours ............so, got some line, practiced my bending and made it up, it did take me 4 hours but at least I'm on the road again.
