read codes and it was a low pressure fuel pump circut faliure

i recently bought a code reader for my car and it said there was a low pressure fuel pump circut failure. i was wondering if replacing the fuel pump would fix this problem if not what would fix it.

Try replacing the fuel filter, otherwise I would say it is the fuel pump.

did your car act funny before you switched the pump?....and did you check the preasure???

i'm in the process of replacing the fuel pump and the bolts holding the gas tank up are so rusted i can't turn them past a 1/4 inch and i have been spraying them with liquid rench for days. i am getting a 1/2 inch drive set to use on it later today. yesterday i tried using a 1/4 inch drive with a breaker bar but they won't move.hopefully i will have better luck today.
