Just wondering if these guys are still in business? I ordered some rod bearings and an oil pan gasket set on 6/29 using paypal to purchase them. I have emailed them a couple of times and nothing. No email confirming shipment no reply to my emails just to let me know what's going on,I mean nothing. I would assume that 10 days to ship would be more than sufficient.
I am not trying to bash them or discredit them, just kinda curious if anybody else has ever had a problem with them and how they dealt with it.
I realize people get busy and times get tough however a simple reply to an email can put people at ease and keep them in the loop as to what's going on.Especially when most internet orders are paid in advance before product is shipped.
Sorry to those that might take offense to this post it wasn't meant to be a bash, just trying to use forum to maybe get some answers.

Unfortunately, it's a common trend with RCM. You get lightning fast responses on questions up until a payment is made. If you search through this forum, you'll find several threads about the same thing. All you can do now is wait.

Yep. One forum member found a sure fire way to get a response, he opened a paypal dispute.

I guess if I don't hear something by tomorrow I just may have to go that route. Thanks for the input,I will just have to deal with it this time and make sure when I get ready to do my sons 60k(which I am starting on now)when I get ready to order parts I will just use somebody else.
Just kinda sucks I was hoping to use one vendor for all his parts to make it that much easier.

Hey guys, new sho owner here (92 grn mtx). I ordered a tranny mount on 6-28 from rcm using paypal. I recieved no shipping info., no part, nothing. I sent the two emails, which went unanswered, and I got fed up and filed a paypal dispute yesterday, 7-8. I'll keep yall posted, haven't heard anything back yet, just wanted to let you know you weren't the only one dealing with this right now shonut91. Btw I've been reading through the various sub forums, gleaning all the sho info I can, and you guys sure seem to know your stuff. Kudos on a great forum!

I made an order with RCM a few days ago for some stainless brake lines....i hope they ship out since I need them ASAP. If they don't and I don't get a response I will probably go the same route with a dispute.

open a dispute they usually respond within the same day/next day... its the only way to communicate with them.

Did any of you ask if these items were in stock prior to ordering? If not, I do hope that you're allowing a fair amount time for shipping since sometimes orders may come directly from a vendor rather than RCM themselves.

I am not excusing the lack of communication by any means, but to be fair, unless you know an item is in stock at RCM you can't expect shipment over night.

Thats what I do when I order from them , ask them if they got it in stock. I gotta mail them to get a shipping quote anyway cause the shipping in the cart is wrong for me (Canada).

You cant keep like 10k$ worth of stuff just in case. Specially for the small SHO vendors , SHONUT and SHO source probably dont have everything listed on their site either.

I still haven't heard anything back from them on the dispute. I may escalate it to a claim at this point and just try and get my money back. Sure is frustrating.

odd...got home from work today to find a box on my porch, addressed to me, with RCM's return address. have yet to open it to make sure it's all there, but i'm willing to bet it is.

Crazy world, same thing happened to me today also. Got home from work and the part finally came. They never responded to my emails or even to the paypal dispute I opened so it was a complete suprise. Oh well, lesson learned, if I need anything else, it won't be coming from them.

I am still unable to reach them and have not recieved my merchandise either. Dispute is open maybe I will get some response or my parts.A little communication would be nice is all some people need to feel a little more comfortable about longer shipping delays os all i'm saying.

I've sent like 3 or 4 emails, no reply. I would appreciate a response due to the fact that if my order hasnt shipped out yet I would cancel it as I no longer want/need the parts. If it has shipped than thats ok too i guess.

All it takes to make a customer happy is a little communication. If i knew the SS brake lines were on the way, I wouldn't use the rubber one i bought. No point in putting one on for a few days to just replace it.

Got my order yesterday, guess it just takes some time. Though a simple email explaining would have put me at ease.
