OK first off I have new a CPS and CID. And when the car cranks the CEL is OFF.
Four days after I got my car running after my front 60k my car stalled while I was sweeping it out at a car wash. I had my music on and I have a system with a 1000 watt amp so I figured that my battery was just getting low because the car started right back up. Then over the next few days after that the car started to slightly missfire and it would stall at idle if I had my music up. I unplugged my amp and drove the car and it wouldnt stall at idle but it still missfired. Then it started to stall and it stalled and wouldnt start back up. I ran the codes and got 212(spout) 215(coil #1) and the usual EGR codes. I got the car home and Ive been playing around with all the plugs and connections but the car wouldnt get spark. Eventually it started yesterday and after a couple minutes it started to miss a little bit and it stalled and wouldnt start back up. Today I tried to start it but it just cranked. Then I hooked up the battery charger and after 4 hours it started right up. Im wondering if the battery is holding enough power to crank the engine but not enough to send spark. Or is my coil just crappy and only works half the time. Im probably wrong but I cant figure out why it randomnly loses spark. Any help would be nice. O BTW I had my DIS tested at murrays and it passed.
