random misfire on 3-6 , comes and goes .

Working on a 91 that is dead on both cylinders 3 and 6 ( or both the middle spots on the coil ) intermittently . It comes and goes with no certain action , just random . I was going to start with the coil since it's only ever the middle 2 plugs that don't fire . The tach will jump around sometimes when it's going between missing and running fine . I swapped wires and cleaned plug wells so it's def somthing prior to the coil that's cuasing it.

Anyone got any other ideas before I dig deeper ?

I don't think the crank or cam sensor . Car always starts no coolant leaks and unplugged cam sensor with no change .

Thanks I'm swapping the dis too with the one on my car .
