Rain Rails On Gen 3

Does anybody have problems with the rain rails poping up?

I have glued mine down once and after the winter its coming appart again.

Pointing to up.

Both my rear ones have popped up. I've yet to go to the dealership and buy new ones.

Mine did that and were replaced under warranty years ago. No problems since.

look on top your car. There is two linear strips made of plastic that stretch the length off your top.

Ah, those things. I had a hunch that's what you guys were talking about.

Anyone ever think about removing those, filling them in with bodyfiller so that the roof is flush? I would but don't want the added weight

My thoughts would be the cost to do it, very little difference but it would be neat.
