Just a quick one, can a stock amp/tuner be run in place of a mach unit until I can round up another one?

And then I take a close look at it and it's a JBL and by the way a stock unit will work as a temp replacement.

I was just saying that the stock(non-mach)units will work until you found one and mine that I removed is a Mach I bought it out of a 99, I am running a total aftermarket unit now since I finished my custom EATC face plate. My car is a total custom job between two cars.......nothings original, it's the second documented aftermarket built Gen III SHO wagon. LMK if you want it it is sitting here........if I miss understood what it seemed you were saying......Sorry about that....

SHOALL, could you post some pictures of your custom EATC faceplate? I have been searching for one I liked to replace my stock head unit.
Thanks.

I have been wondering how people would change out the radio. I'm just glad to have the changer in the trunk. I can't stand the radio, except for listening to the occasional talk radio show.

Call me crazy but I actually like the way the radio looks in this car, anything else just doesn't look right to me, however, I do listen to cd's most of the time. It would be cool to take an aftermarket radio/head unit that is square, take it all apart and fab up some kind of curved chassis that would go with the shape of the football.

YEah, the stock system look has grown on me over the last 10 years. Looks awesome still!
