Radio in the EATC slot

Whos done it, what kinda fitment issues have you run into.

Getting ready to put a screen up there.. just wanna be a step ahead.

I TRIED to do it mine the other day. I bought the 79 and up mounting kit and went at it. I didnt get all of the little nubs and tabs off of it like I shoudl have, there were still a few small tabs on the back that were keeping the kit from settling in flush with the car. I also saw that I wouldnt be able to mount the trim piece for the new clarion touch screen radio I put in it, so I opted to not use that spot for it. Incidentally, I broke the left 2 mounting holes for the EATC when trying to make the mounting kit slide in there. Didnt notice there were 2 nubs holding me up on the back of it. If putting the screen in, I'm sure itl look sweet, and I know some other peeps on here have done it. can't wait to check it out Eric!
