Well, I posted a while back about my radio intermittently shutting off when my '95 MTX is running, and working great when the car is off. Well, it did it again today, so I kiled the car, radio. Car on, no radio- all the time. It gets power, no sound other than the sub getting some low range sound.
So I tried shutting off the car, turning on the car (with the radio off) turning on my parking lights, then turning on the radio- voila- sound for about 5 seconds, and it shut off again.
Would the infamous headlight switch short affect the radio like that? It is a Pioneer head unit, not stock. Radio is wired with new wiring to the speakers, not using any factory wiring at all.
