Radio (Football) question

I have a 98. Had issues so I bought a 97 digital radio. They look the same but the electrical connections are different. Do they make any connections that would make the 97 work in my 98? Any ideas?

The '97s has three plugs and the '98s have two. There are no conversion cables.
