radio and cd help

I have a 95 MTX and it came with the factory am fm cass..I purchased a fac cd player out of a mustang and bought the wiring that goes to the radio to the cd player but have no power wire for the cd player is it in the dash somewhere or do I have to make my own or something?thanks in advance

You will have to make your own or get one from another car. I made mine out of a serial conector from Radio Shack. E-mail me if you want details. Also the connector that goes to the redundant radio controls next to the gauges has the same connector, you can get that out of any second gen Taurus or Sable. Another question though, did you have to remove a shorting plug to hook up the 6-pin connector from the CD player? If not, your tape deck will not work with that CD player without modifications.

ok I have a 93 gl taurus I just robbed the wiring plug out of the radio controls by the gauges..now how do I go about wiring that in to mine to make the cd player work?thanks again
