I'll be honest, i only know about 3/4 of what was in those photos
I can fix a car great, but I'm not that good at upgrading and tuning a car

@Vestin112 thanks for sharing those photos. It looks very clean, I have been noodling on adding and oil cooler myself. I always get uptight about electrical work, adding new in cabin sensor guages. Just seem to be so much labor. Nice job wrapping the pipes something I will be seriously considering.

Mind sharing the part numbers you received for your oil cooler? Thread etc, I saw the 185 temp option. Thanks! I think u sold me, where did you mount the air cooler?

The simple upgrade I did (other than PP/PI coolers) is replace the whole coolant with VP Racing Stay Frosty. I used the purple colored one where the mix is 70/30 and then added two bottles of VP Cooldown to the coolant reservoir and topped up.

It made a night a day difference where I live as ambient temps are extremely hot to begin with.

This is a great point there are coolant additives that will help keep temps down such as water wetter (used in my 98 M3 with a fan delete) worked really great to raise boiling temps so the coolant doesn't boil and create air cavitation through the block. A big one I forgot is a lower temp thermostat which most people run. Mine is a 170 I believe.

The oil cooler sandwich adapter was from Improved racing and it was ENV-131-T4 ordered with a M22x1.5 Thread it was 270 with shipping which was fast as well. It feeds 10 AN connections and for the radiator I used a Mishimoto

about 350 so add in some 10 an fittings and some braided line for about 140 bucks and you're golden. Mounted the cooler right to the bottom of the stack behind the condenser. Mounting bolts went in nice and easy.

Love those rims...
I love em so much I dinged one and had to buy another but I guess at least I'll have a full size spare when I get it fixed . I liked the color on em so much I had the rear trim fender vents and front grills painted to match. I'm now autisticly devoted to the aesthetic.

They're niche m222 if anyone wanted numbers on that decent rim not super heavy and fairly inexpensive compared to alot

Can you describe your overheating problem a bit more? What are you doing (autocross, drag?). What are the ambient temps and the engine temps you are concerned about.

Sweet - thanks!!! I have a PP car. the oil cooler seems like a no brainer to cut down on heat in the radiator/thus engine.
You'll want to delete the old pp oil cooler by getting the oil supply mount from a non PP car as well as a radiator hose from a non pp car and close off the returns on the radiator otherwise I don't know the adapter will work or maybe you can get away with it running both. I also setup the PTU with it's own cooler and pump to alleviate cooling load on the trans cooler.
