Well I got a radiator fan from a SLO and put it in today. It was a three speed fan so it will work fine in my 95. However I have a wiring question. I had to do some custom wiring as there was not a matching plug. My stock wiring has a black wire, a brown w/orange stripe wire, and a brown w/yellow stripe. The question I have is which is for the high speed and which is for the low speed. I looked at the wiring diagram I have and it shows a brown w/orange and a dark blue wire? Anybody know which is which?

Strange indeed. All the wire diagrams I see have the brown/orange for low and dark blue for high speed. I have not heard of three speed fans either.

No, they are black, brown/orange, and brown/yellow. My guess is that the brown/yellow is the same as the dark blue one, which I believe is the high speed, but I want to know if anyone can confirm this.

Still strange as all the Ford diagrams I've looked at have either dark blue or dark blue and brown/orange.

A way to check is put the key in run, turn on the MAX A/C and set the temp to 60F. There should be voltage (less than 12V+) on one of the wires, probably brown/orange. This would be the low speed.
