shotimes.com has an explanation of how to do this in the care and feeding -> engine control section. Basically you look for the trapezoidal shaped plug near the firewall on the passenger side. Make a jumper wire with 1/4" spades on each end. In the connector there is a single wire that pulls out of the housing. Go ahead and pull this wire out. Then take the plug protector off of the trapezoidal shaped plug. Facing the plug with the long side on the bottom, the signal return pin is the top right pin. You jumper this pin to the loose wire that you pulled out before. Then follow the directions from shotimes. If that didn't help I'm sure somebody else here has a better description of how to jumper the connectors, I often don't describe things very succinctly.
