Take one to a hardware store and match it up. Put a nut on both so you can be certain it's the same thread. It'll be in the metric section, opt for stainless if they have it. Cut it too length if all they have is too long. Buy that nut and thread it on before cutting then when you take it off it will straighten the threads a bit.

Robert,

If you're talking about the bolts only, as soon as it stops pouring here, I'll wander next door to the shop and measure one for you. I don't know if I have a metric thread pitch guage though.

There are four nuts also used to clamp the pan, at the corners, and they are a different size.

Tom

BTW, I know it's a long way to drive to get 3.00 worth of bolts, but I have 3 coffee cans full of nuts and bolts from SHO's. For free.

Edit: okay they are 8mmx 25mm with a thread pitch of 1.25

Anytime is fine, I'm recuperating from some surgery so I can't go anywhere.

Yeah, everything is fine. Went in for a pain in the neck and no, it wasn't Mitzi. The Doc said, "AHA! You like an obscure, out of production 4 door sedan with a Japanese engine. You must need a carotidectomy." So, I had one.

That sounds like they removed your carotid artery, which would be, well, bad.

But you weren't using that brain, anyway, were ya?

Tom,

Take it easy. Put your feet up, tune into the BBC on the shortwave and enjoy the wonders of cricket on the radio!

Uhmm....yea, that would not be good.

Hopefully Tom meant to say a "Carotid endarterectomy" which is the removal of plaque from the carotid artery due to some degree of stenosis (plugging up of the artery). THink of it as a roto-rooter for your clogged up artery.

It could have been a "Carotid angioplasty" which is the insertion of a balloon to expand the artery followed by a stent insertion to keep it open. Think chimney linering your arteries.

Tom, you didnt use one of them ****** stents that arent made by my company did you?

Mike,

I think that you got the good makings for a horror film here. Something like Day of the Triffids but tools that come to life and take there revenge at the next AZSHOC meet.

Okay, beginning to get the feeling I've been at work to long and time to go home.

Take it easy Tom and keep your wits about you when you go in that garage!

I'm okay guys. I had a "hard growth tumor" on one of my Carotid Glands near some lymph node(s) in front of my right ear. They avoided calling it a tumor for 3 weeks prior to the surgery. I didn't know there were so many synonyms for tumor. They removed the toomah (Swartzeneggar voice/) and part of that gland on Tuesday morning. I'm doing fine, just trying to re-adjust my sleeping habits to stay off my right side for a while.

Nick, The rest of the clutch parts came in for the 95 so next time you're free, let me know.
