Quick question about IRMC valve...

before i was going to get a new imrc i was thinkin alternatives and i think that the actuator works by grounding it to open the short runners. i was thinking about putting in a switch at the ground if this was the case

If the cable is broke you can put switche in there and it still won't open the secondaries.

When people talk about "wiring them open" they are talking about the same thing as using a zip tie, except instead they use some type of wire, or if the cable has pulled out of the actuator completely, they pull the cable to hold the butterflies open and then secure the cable under one of the bracket bolts on the valve cover to hold them open that way.
