quick qstns about steering racka nd pinion

hello guys,
i have a qstn about steering rack and pinion assmebly .. i am pulling it out of a 93 atx, and put it in my 92 mtx.. would that work.. ??? is there any difference between mtx and atx on this project + how much time and how difficult is to replace the rack and pinion on my SHO..( to do it my self)

all opinions and advices appreciated..

The two racks should be the same. As for replacing the rack you would need to lower the rear of the sub frame to get the rack out. If you want i could tell you how to remove and replace the rack if you dont know how. just send me a pm and i will reply as soon as i can.
