It may work. I would not buy from that seller though. They clearly show an Osram ballast but the description lists it as an EPAP ballast. Since it is in California, I am guessing it is Chinese knockoffs fresh off the boat in a warehouse. That seller is PZ Autoparts. If you google "EPAP" Ford Taurus Ballast, other companies like EZPZ Autoparts come up. They have the same product but the word Osram is photoshopped out of their pictures. I would bet something like this shows up.

Thanks for the heads up. Would you be able to point me to a reputable dealer? I’ve never had to buy one before.

Are you looking for just a basic replacement or something specific? Rockauto has Phillips. Amazon has Osram. Personally, on that old of a vehicle, I would probably look for a 2 pack with bulbs. I prefer Osram myself. Are you sure that is even the correct ballast? https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FY78JBQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That is what I put in my 2015.
This link you sent is just bulbs. I need the actual ballast to be replaced.

I understand you said ballast, however, in your other post you said you needed the ballast and bulb then posted a picture of the "exact part you need" which was the D3S bulb assembly. I would still stick with a name-brand ballast if you go with replacing the ballast.
