Hello,sorry if post in wrong thread.
I will soon be starting the process of replacing parts, and adding modifications to my 2016 non pp SHO.
I have a few questions and There are a few things that I have not yet ordered because I am not yet sure which are the correct or best. I would like to replace the turbo exhaust gaskets when I swap to Stainless works downpipes, yet I am not sure what gaskets are needed. I have found some online but there are different styles and I cannot figure out exactly what parts I need for the exhaust end of the job. If anybody can share part numbers or links that would be awesome.
My last question is how thick is the case of the PTU which I will be drilling. I already ordered a magnetic drain plug that's roughly 5/8ths to 3/4"(I don't have it with me) from washer to tip. If the case is a 1/2" I want to make sure I won't run into any issues with length of the bolt.
Other than maintenance of PTU, RDU and transmission would there be anything else that I can service or change while I have the car torn apart? This car will be the most technical, expensive and complicated project I have taken on. I really appreciate the community In this forum, I have learned alot, thanks to all.
