Hey all, does anyone know what the difference is between the 10p15f and fs10 compressors? Are they interchangeable? I'm looking at four seasons rebuilds and both say pag 46 but they look very different. First thought was one was for r12 but that went out the window when it says filled with pag 46.

May have answered my question. One is sho one is slo. Weird because they list 93 as using a slo compressor and then 94 to 95 as sho.

How many compressors did the sho use? My understanding was 89 to 95 was the same but I want to be sure so I don't run into any issues.

orifice tube is Ford-speak for an expansion valve.

Ford lists separate part numbers for the 3.0 SHO v. 3.2 SHO, but I have used them interchangeably without issue. The slo part does not work.

I'm worried more so with 89-93 vs 94 to 95 than I would be atx to mtx. I'm wondering if the compressor changed when they switched to r134a. But I suppose I'm curious if the atx and mtx had different units too.

As far as I know all V6 SHO'S use the 10P15F compressor. The difference would be the oil used in the system. R12 vs R134.

Ok then all I need is a way to make the aftermarket Ac line fit with headers. Probably not going to happen.

What does everyone do with the liquid line then? Cut it and replace the orifice tube and reuse it? I've read that ends up leaking.
