Hello all. I hope you are having an enjoyable Christmas season. Just doing some stuff to the SHO and I have a question. I inherited an 80mm MAF from the previous owner who was a super cool guy and had alot of extra parts. Am I able to simply install it in place of the old one? I do not think that I can due to the computer settings etc. Do I need one of those Tweecer things/chips? Is it worth doing it do you think? It is a 3.2 MTX and has the Dynomax exhaust on it. Thanks for your time, you guys are great.:thankyou:

Yes you need a tuner (chip) so the your car runs properly. The 80mm MAF is NOT plug-and-play.

You do not need it at the stage you are at right now. And its not worth purchasing a tuner just for the MAF.

You can always sell it , its worth between 40 and 60$.
