question on instaling aftermarket guages

i have 3 guages and i got the water temp hooked up ok. the ammeter and the oil pressure are giving me trouble. where is the oil preassure seanding unit or where do i hook up the oil. Where do i hook the ammeter to thanks.

The oil pressure should be on the firewall side of the engine. If you jack up the car and get underneath the engine you should see it. Is a ammeter the amp meter? Wouldnt that just go off the batt or alt?
