My sho is seemingly in "good" health. Has K&N air filter, High flow Y pipe, a full 60K, and supposedly a fairly new clutch. It runs strong. (I think)
VS.
I found a 91 sho with 175,000 miles. The exterior and interior is beat to crap. Valve covers leak oil. Etc... BUT it runs like a champ. The engine is very quiet! It shifts a lot easier than mine . (With mine, it took me a while to get the hang of starting off in 1st gear. Easy to ****/ stall.) This sho is EASY to shift! I am wondering if my clutch could have been installed poorly (because of this.)
This sho I found for sale has every bit the power mine does... if not more. And it is much smoother. Doesn't make sense after comparing them!!
I am going to get mine back on the dyno to see exactly what my sho is pulling.
Any comments?

Do they both have cable shifters?

I have the rod shifter in my '89 and sometimes 1st real easy to find. But I find that once I have driven it for a while and let the trans fluid warm up, everything is smooth...
