Question about steering??

Alright- my steering is real stiff...im so used ot my 94 sho with easy steering(probably due to the VAPS) but im wondering if ne with a 91 sho have the same problem as me...lets say if ur sitting still- can u move the steering wheel with one finger left all the way and than right all the way-- also when i turn a hard left it feels like the steering will be locked there and doesnt want to come back...what could that be...

Could be dirty fluid or pump is going bad. Last,rack could be bad or air in system. I'd start by getting new fluid (quality) after thoroughly pumping out the old.
