Pretty sure my car was re sprayed at some point, all emblems including the insides of the SHO symbols on the doors and bumper, door jams not the same color. How can i fill the SHO symbols (dont know what to call them) on the exterior? touch up paint? spray paint? any ideas welcome. thanks

You can buy the vinyal inlays on Ebay for around $12 I believe or you can get a can of spray paint and mask off the area around the SHO indents and go to town.

I used Testor's Model Enamel and a fine brush. Took a lil while, but it's holding out pretty good.

I have one of the original "Bob White" fill kits I picked up a couple of years ago it's available if someone wants it (I certainly didn't pay $12 for it though, was more like $30-40 from memory). I don't remember off hand what color it was, but I can check tonight if interested.

I originally had one of these kits on my white 95 & it held up very well. Broke the car crusher as the story goes...

I used the vinyl ones off eBay. I installed them last summer, and they're still hoding up just fine. They even give you spare sets for the doors and bumper just in case. Well worth the money IMO. Took me quite some time to install, as you need to be REAL precise when sticking them on there.

I just used a cheap paint pen from wal mart. Was much easier than the spray and mask stuff (been there and done that), and still looks good over a year later.

Don't know much about the vinyl decal stuff, but pin striping, as shown by platoribs, would work great if you have the patients and steady hands to do it. I have a custom pin striping job on mine (on the body, not the emblems) that is over 2 years old and still looks like new.
