I know its a front wheel drive and its not conected directly to the transmission like my mustang is, but is the shifter supposed to feel a little sloppy ? Are there any new bushings that can be used to make it stiffer ?

really the only things to help are aluminum subframe bushings, motor mounts if yours are bad, and the SHOrt throw shifter, which BTW there is a group buy on now.

What year is your SHO? If its one build before mid 91 you most likely have a cable shifter. You could swap a rod shifter from a 92-95. Or if you allready have one get new ware parts of the shifer itself.

its a 93 so it has the rod shifter, so that part is cool, but what parts can be changed ? are there bushings that go soft ? I basically want to clean up the slop the shifter has. I had a civic for a while and it had rods, it didnt feel any tighter than this, but there was a definite feeling of knowing when you were in gear, I dont get it with my SHO.

As mentioned, putting your car's year in your signature or profile will make answering certain questions a bit easier.

Fortunately, I was able to find another post you made where you mention it's a '93, so here we go...

There are three main places that can result in a sloppy rod shifter. The first is the ball-and-socket joint at the bottom of the shifter, the second is the u-joint where the shifter connects to the transaxle, and the third is the stabilizer bar that connects the shifter to the transaxle housing.

To check which is worn, first place the car in gear and have a helper wiggle the shifter left & right while you look at the shifter rods below. If you don't see any movement whatsoever in either shifter rod, it's probably the ball-and-socket joint. If one or both of the shifter rods is/are moving, you'll need to do some further investigating to determine which rod is moving. Be sure to secure the car safely on jackstands or ramps before climing under the car!

Try that test and let us know what you find! :)
