Question about fluid service price

Hey so I called ford near me and they said for transmission oil change is 199+tax and for antifreeze is 159+tax. Is this the normal range prices?!

Yes that is about right depending on area and independent vs dealer. A transmission flush calls for about 0.6 hours labor and 12 qts of fluid. A coolant system service (pressure test, check hoses and belts, thermostat operation, drain and flush) calls for 1.8 hours labor and 12 qts of coolant.

Yes. Manual only 89-92, manual and auto available 93-95, auto only for 96-99 and the current ecoboost cars. It is always helpful to specify with the old cars as there are slight differences overall and major differences in drivetrain issues.

Kk awesome I got the 2015 one so I believe they gave me the price for the auto since there is no manual for my year

Yes. 2015 SHO is the Gen 4 section. so common cars are grouped together. The early cars Geni and II are non turbo yamaha v-6, There is a section for the GenIII cars with the small v-8, and the last one for the turbo 6 cars. You will get more experienced responses about your specific vehicle in the correct section. many owners focus their time in the section for just their type of car
