i was just driving back from the SUV haven (grocery store during the day) and i was running in 4th @ about 2500 rpm and the engine ****** real quick down to about 1500 and then a second later did it again, then for the rest of the way home it had no issues what so ever. I'm thinking something with fuel pressure or fuel delievery, occasionally when cranking the car i have to try twice to get it to start up, it will just spark but no ignite, so i turn key to off sit for a second then it goes right up.

discuss....

NY for now, WY for real
Did the tachometer nosedive to 0 for an instant?

This sounds like it might be the CPS. (Crank position sensor. $45 and some "quality time" taking apart the belts, etc... on the front of the engine.)

Check the codes. :)

no codes, and it didn't go to zero just to 1500rpm. i've gone through like 3 cps's so i know when that goes bad. no leaking oil what so ever, and none in the wells

I'm assuming its an MTX? So unless you slowed down when it happened, the RPMs couldn't have dropped.

Ok I'll make my guess at what's wrong with your car and respond to the last post at the same time. First I think your CMP camshaft position sensor is acting up. And yes the RPM's can drop without slowing down. If the computer is getting an incorrect RPM reading via a bad CMP sensor (or CKP sensor) then the tach is going to show low. When the CMP sensor fails is can cause a bucking sensation which you shortly experienced. Sometimes it'll do it and other times it'll act completely fine. And sometimes it'll throw a code and not at others.
