Hello everybody,
My wife bought a 2012 SHO almost 2 years ago and we've owned it through one winter in Iowa already and are starting another. We managed to get by alright, but the thing handles very poorly in the snow with the 20" wheels and performance tires. I have a couple of questions regarding putting smaller factory OEM wheels with all season or winter driving tires on it.
1. Would the size of the brakes interfere with any of the smaller OEM wheels, like the 17" or 18"?
2. If the 17" or 18" OEM wheels do work, would anybody know of someone with a used set - doesn't have to be nice since they're just winter wheels - for sale willing to ship to Iowa? The first summer we owned the car, I found an absolute steal of a set on eBay for $500 that included perfectly good tires, but couldn't afford them at the time and had to let them go. Since then, I haven't been able to find another deal that good.
Any help is appreciated and I'm looking forward to being a member of the community here! :thankyou:
