Hi everyone! I am a new member. I have had numerous SHO's, gen 1 and 2, and have never encountered my current problem. I was accelerating fairly hard and lost all ability to run. I have spark and fuel pressure at the rails... However, my fuel pump is running constant and my cooling fan as well. I pulled a ccrm off of my 91, but I am still having the same issue. The 91 has not run for a couple of years and the failure of that one was never determined. I have checked the ground for the ccrm. I can get another ccrm today, but I really don't want to if it is not the problem. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Robert

Sorry, wrong area.

How many miles on your SHO? Do the fuel pump & fan run even with key out of ignition? It could be the CCRM (did you replace with same code CCRM?), or a bad ignition switch or a short in wiring somewhere. I don't think grounds are the issue, but worth checking into anyway.

I assume you swapped it with another M code CCRM. What fuel pressure did you measure? No matter how frustrated I have been, I have always tried fixing my car at least three times (this is after you step back and clear your mind and do more searching on the forum for solutions or asking for input). I came pretty close to junking my 92, but on the third try I found an old post suggesting the problem was due to an extra gasket that got stuck in a connector causing an intermittent failure.

cooling fan running constantly is a symptom of a bad pcm ground.
