Pulling codes in 1994 ATX

How do I pull the codes in my 1994 ATX SHO? The Check Engine Light came on today for a bit. When I stopped, shut off the car and started it again it never came back again. Also, I replaced the O2 sensors last weekend, should I take off the negative battery cable to reset computer?
