PTP Turbo Blankets for SHO Update

For those waiting on an update of the PTP turbo blankets they are ready to make them for our platform and need a pair of stock turbos to design the blankets. PTP said in the email below that turn around on the first revision blankets will be 4 weeks and whoever supplies the turbos will get the first set of blankets to test fit. PTP will also return the turbos to the owner after they design the blankets. Who would like to send spare turbos to them? Their address is listed below in the email i received from PTP.

Of course. We would return the turbos back to the member with a set of turbo blankets included. Turn around time would be about 4 weeks.
If the member is interested, they can go ahead and send us the turbos.

I don't have an extra pair, but will definitely be a customer of this product once it's complete. Maybe somebody like GH or someone who recently purchased GH turbos has their stockers avail to be sent?

I'd be HIGHLY interested in some wraps for the PPE cat'd downpipes too! These things are just too dang close to the PDU and the cat's make it somewhat impossible to use the 1" or 1.5" tape wrap all the way up and down the pipe.

I have a set of my old turbos from changing to the ATP Turbos, but they had a crack in them so they wouldn't take them back.

Wow, this is interesting. I asked them some time ago if they'd be interested in doing some for our application and they flatly told me no, LOL. Glad there was additional interest to get them motivated. ME WANT SOME, lol.

I have a local turbo blanket place out here that I was speaking with that was willing to try and make some as a one off for me with maybe an option to bring it to market depending on interest (it never really went past conversation), but I'd prefer some PTP as they seem to have a good rep...I will be waiting patiently for a set, so keep us updated.

Funny, I had the same problem with my ATPs, but they ended up giving me my core charge after a bit of discussion. Seems that crack you are referring to is VERY common in our application...at least according to them.

Anyway, hope you are able to get them your set as I am dying for a set of turbo blankets, lol...

I could probably get a set of these made for free.....a place im currently working has guys on site making these for boiler pipes and parts.

A 2million dollar project could disappear a few yards of materials.

Last I knew PTP was already working on making a set. It was my understanding through Aaron Schwartz that they also had someone sending in a set to have some made for the SHO.....bc speaking with Aaron I said since my turbos were out getting ported I could send them to PTP, but someone was sending theirs in. Never heard about this again. So anywho I’m also “still” interested

I think I remember seeing this posted somewhere also. Also never heard more about it.
