What is the procedure for thermally protecting the rear main wiring harness during a cam fix procedure? It is listed as a problem on V8 sho here but there is no conclusion to the artice expalining how to rake care of it.

Thanks,
Brad

There are a couple of ways to tackle the problem. The rear is particularly affected by the exhaust heat from the manifold. At slo speeds and after the car is shut off a tremendous amount of heat soaks the area.

You can get a high temp wire loom material, or insulate the area. Del City has many good automotive electrical deals and one of the is High Temp Wire Loom.
