Going on the rollers tomorrow at a local shop and would just like to know if there is anything besides having a linked awd dyno to make this a good experience. Also, what gear do most of you use to make the runs?

Since 5th gear is 1:1, I believe most people dyno the SHO starting in 3rd gear? You should try normal (not sport) mode 3rd gear and 4th gear runs to see what makes the most hp/tq for you.

why not sport? that would allow you to manually shift it into the gear you want and have it stay there.

Going off the experience of one or two guys, but that was on an XSport. I really just wanted to prompt people to respond to OP with their real-life experience and advice, see if they hit any barriers, and how they overcame them. "bumping" the post as it were.

I have that part solved. My tuner has the trans setup so I can lock it into the gear I need. What gear is everyone else using? I figured 4th but wasn't sure. Anything else I should be aware of?

my experience is that you get the most accurate results when you are in the gear that is 1:1.
