Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I've started emailing companies about trying to get a set of either Projectorlamp or Diamond Clear style headlights made up for Gen 2 SHO's/Sables. How many of you would be willing to prepay for such a thing? Keep in mind that theres no pricing or anything as of yet, just curious to see how many people might truly be interested in this cause I know I HATE the stock SHO headlight design, I doubt that I'm alone in that respect.

I'm trying to make my own right now. But I wouldn't mind a set of profesioanlly made one for like 250$ max......
Yeah I was definitely hoping to get them for less than $250 as well but I'll keep you updated. Like I said, Just wanting to see how much interest there would be at this point.

I would be really interested for the Gen I. I have been sending an email every couple of weeks or so to APC ( www.4apc.net ) requesting they look at producing a light kit for the three generations of Taurus. They keep replying that they will have the marketing dept look at it ( brush off ), but perhaps if there are more enthusists requesting it they might have a closer look.

Maybe someone should contact whichever company made the clear corners for the gen IIs.
I dunno how they would look though, with these being clear lens and the corners and fishtank translucent. Might look kinda funky.

I emailed Procarparts first(the guys who made the clear corners) and they said "Im sorry to tell you this but, we dont make the parts we sell" or something to that effect. And he didn't give me any further leads to contact so, whatever. I emailed APC. Theres no real reason they should say no I mean they make lights for practically every other freakin american car thats worth being an enthusiast of...and plenty that arent *cough*cavalier*cough cough*

That would be hot if you could get someone to make them. Ive seen some ricers floating around with the projector type headlights, no clue where they got them but someone is making them (Other than APC)
Good luck with this - its almost too bad that it took a little while for Chris R to make his, that would be one **** of a job for him to do!

I would buy if the light output is high and the beam pattern is good. Typically with these cosmetic aftermarket headlights, they suck.
Now if you could get Sylvania or Hella to do up something...
