I am planning the sounds aspect of my 90 project car and I had a few questions. I have the stock stereo/tape/cd player (works) and stock speakers but the amps are gone. 1.Is it better to run stock amps with the stock head unit? 2.Does anyone have part numbers for the amps, or even a pic would be fine. 3.If I did run stock amps, they would only drive the stock speakers. I would run aftermarket amps to aftermarket speakers. Is it better to get the signal for the aftermarket amps directly from the head unit, or splice in at the stock amps? Or does it even matter? I'm sure I will have more questions later. I am making a fiberglass enclosure for the trunk and still haven't decided what speakers and amps to use. Thanks in advance.
